Sometimes, we are asked about the effectiveness of distributing Da’wah materials at public events. Here is an answer to their question:
One of the visitors who visited the Why Islam Da’wah booth at the Plano Asian Festival failed the Islamic quiz. Our volunteer gave a Da’wah gift bag, which contained a translation of the Qur’an and brochures of different topics about Islam for further information.
Food Pantry
ICNA Relief Dallas has been actively participating in providing relief work in the DFW metroplex from past 7 years. Of the whole gamut of work, prime operational work involves providing rental / utility assistance to the mass refugee influx occurring in and around DFW metroplex. Feed the Hungry Program
ICNA Relief Dallas has been actively involved in “Feed The Hungry” program from past 7 years. The basic agenda behind this program to provide food to the homeless people who are more in numbers across DFW metroplex. Currently we are conducting this program at two different venues.
Donate A Car
Pioneering the relief work for more than 7 years in DFW metroplex, ICNA Relief Dallas chapter started facilitating CAR donation program 2 years back. There are lots of needy families who are in severe need for mobility. And we all know without a car, life becomes tough when it comes to mobility.
Identifying real need among the needy families registered in our database for a car, ICNA Relief Dallas facilitates the car donation to the respective family. Once the paper work is completed successfully, the certificate of title is registered from the donor to the recipient, the new owner of the car. Past 2 years, ICNA Relief Dallas has facilitated the car donations to many needy & refugee families. ….
Refugee Assistance Program
Each year, thousands of refugees are invited by the U.S. government to seek safety and freedom. Forced to flee conflict or persecution, many have survived for years against incredible odds. They step off the plane with next to nothing but their dignity, hope and determination.
Flown in United States by organizations like Catholic Charities, American Red Cross, International Rescue Committee, the refugees are made to settle down in any of the 50 states of US. ….
